About James
Jim has been a real estate professional for 15 years. With Balistreri Realty he uses his extensive knowledge, attention to details, listening skills, and prior business, management, and executive experience to assist Sellers and Buyers to meet their property needs. As a resident of Florida since 1985, he has combined his love of people and Florida (water and sun) to provide the highest levels of customer service demonstrated by his repeat customers and their referrals to him. As a Broker Associate he especially loves waterfront properties and the challenges they can represent. In 2012 he was his company’s Top Producer Company-Wide. He loves to assist, coach, and mentor newer real estate agents. He has served on Condominium Boards for 20 years and served on a local Not for Profit Board for 14 years.
Jim has earned the designation of CDPE (certified distress property expert) which prepared him for the recent years of decline in the real estate market and the resulting short sales and foreclosures. Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Detroit College of Business and did graduate work at the University of Tampa. He has in his previous positions received a national award for “Distinguish Leadership in Financial Management” and CIO Magazine’s Esprit Award for Strategic Partnering for Return on Investment from Information Technology
